Laser Dermabrasion works without the need of chemicals and is extremely simple, virtually painless and for all ages. It’s frequently used on the neck, hands and décolletage, as well as the face.
It can be used in addition to other procedures to achieve the effects you desire in one solid treatment programme at Natura. For example, we also combine this treatment with the Dermal Filler Restylane Vital for really outstanding results.
At Natura, our doctors use the Erbium: YAG Laser – a high tech laser that performs sophisticated skin peels. There are two degrees of intensity available:
The Lunchtime Peel – the milder of the two with two treatments recommended to achieve optimum results. Ideal for those with a busy lifestyle who want minimum downtime.
The Weekend Peel – a hotter peel that penetrates the skin deeper. Results are achieved after just one treatment.
After the first treatment, the skin will have a fresh, radiant glow. Improvement will continue throughout the treatment programme as fine lines, wrinkles and age spots become greatly diminished.

How does Laser Dermabrasion work?
The procedure involves guiding the Erbium Laser hand-piece across the skin to deeply exfoliate the surface. This process improves the tone and texture of the skin and also reveals new, living skin cells giving you a soft and smooth complexion.
How is this laser peel different from a chemical peel?
Laser Dermabrasion is a high tech, sophisticated laser peel that puts other forms of dermabrasion and peels to shame as it does away with the wallpaper peeling effect of a beautician’s chemical peels, and can only be administered by a doctor.
How long does Laser Dermabrasion last?
The results from the milder lunchtime peel last several weeks, while results from the hotter weekend peel last between 4 and 6 months.
How long does the procedure take?
About 1 hour in total: anaesthetic cream must be applied 30 minutes beforehand, with treatment taking 30 minutes.
Are there any additional options you might discuss with me?
Yes. The doctor may suggest a Dermal Filler such as Vital, or Botox.
Is there anything I should be aware of?
The level of skin redness really depends on the intensity of the treatment. The quicker, milder Lunchtime Peel results in very little redness. As the name suggests with the longer, hotter, deeper Weekend Peel, the redness will last a few days. Specially manufactured, post-laser treatment regenerators and concealers allow Natura patients to carry on with daily activities almost immediately after treatment.
