Graduating in Brasil from Universidade de Pernambuco Medical School in 1979, Oxford educated Dr. Xavier developed his expertise in anaesthetics, cardiology, neurology, clinical medicine and intensive care.
After working in general practice for 14 years, Dr. Xavier took an interest in skin conditions, opening his first skin clinic in 2003 alongside his NHS practices.
He saw patients on a daily basis who were suffering from both everyday skin complaints, and also those who were looking for medical advice on ways they could perhaps change aspects of their everyday lives to have a positive impact on their skin and well being.
Dr Xavier has been registered with the General Medical Council for over 25 years, is member of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors, American Society of Laser Surgery and Medicine, International Dermoscopy Society.
Re-launches clinic as Natura Skin Clinic alongside son Chris and daughter Charlotte.
Opens the Aesthetic Laser Centre on Newton Road
Started to research non-surgical treatments in response to demand from his patients at his GP practice.
