Gracing the cover of Easy Living magazine this month, Britain’s Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden talks babies, television and her new job on ITVs talent show, Superstar. As well as regularly appearing on our TV screens, she is also mother to two young daughters, Lexi, six and Hollie, six months.
But perhaps more interesting than her behind the scenes gossip about Simon Cowell, is the 41 year olds youthful appearance. She could be forgiven for occasionally appearing less than perfect, given her hectic job and family, but Amanda is always pictured looking glamorous and youthful.
Amanda has spoke on numerous occasions about her ‘love’ of Botox, but it would seem that in order to keep up with her younger TV counterparts she is delving deeper into non-surgical treatments.
We look at the non-surgical treatments that are giving Amanda Holden her youthful glow.
Amanda’s smooth and clear complexion is free of face veins and age spots, something that is a common problem as we age. Lasers, such as the KTP Laser can clear skin of imperfections in 2-3 sessions.
In addition to this, it would appear Amanda has had further laser treatments to tighten and remove wrinkles from her skin. Unlike other CO2 lasers, the SmartXide removes a customised pattern of thousands of microscopic ‘dots’ rather than the entire skin surface. The high-energy laser causes the outer layers of the epidermis to peel away as the skin heals. The laser also heats the dermis, which stimulates the production of new collagen as the new skin cells develop, the face becomes smoother, firmer and more youthful. Another celebrity fan of laser skin resurfacing is Jennifer Anniston, who also looks far younger than her forty-something years.
In pictures from her younger days, Amanda had quite heavy eye bags, which appear to have been recently disguised with a tear-trough filler. Injecting a hyaluronic acid filler under the eye area, smoothes the indentation and lessens shadows and dark circles. It works by gently and naturally hydrating the skin from within, ‘trapping’ water under the skin and plumping it from beneath
It would seem that Amanda has also had a hyaluronic-acid filler injected in her nose-to-mouth lines. Hyaluronic acid fillers create a glowing complexion by gently and naturally hydrating the skin from within, ‘trapping’ water under the skin and plumping it from beneath. By replenishing hyaluronic acid under the skin, you can restore balance and improve the structure and elasticity of the skin to make the skin soft and smooth with luster and glow.
As mentioned, Amanda has spoke of Botox injections in the past, her lack of lines suggest she has Botox around her eyes and forehead. Some women also have Botox under their eyebrows to lift the eyes. Provided this is carried out by an experienced doctor, Botox here can open the face and give a younger, more youthful look.
